These species are decreasing in less number over all 200 years. It’s a very sad news to hear now these types are only 100 are left in the world. The Iberian Lynx is very closely related to Eurasian lynx. The native of this species is from Spain and Portugal.

Facts of Iberian Lynx

  1. The average length is 32-38 inches, height is 16-20 inches and weight is up to 20 to 30 pounds.
  2. Males are bigger in size than females.
  3. The fur is yellowish to reddish drown with many dark spots.
  4. Also, it’s has muscular body, long hind legs, tufted ears and jaws. It also has a short black tipped tail.
  5. Rabbits are the most likeable dish of Lynx.
  6. It’s also like to have small rodents, ducks, Young of deer, wild boar and Mouflon sheep.
  7. First half of the year is mating season of Lynx. It’s has an ability to mate with only one time with another.
  8. The pregnancy period is up to 60 to 70 days.
  9. Females can give birth to 1-5 kittens.
  10. Lynx are having a great power of hearing and good eyesight.
  11. They can able to live in the world for 14 years.
